Risks for this week

I feel fortunate to have a wife that supports me and works together with me on things that other couples might see as too risky. We believe that now is the perfect time for us to take risks...not overboard risks, but risks that have a big upside to them while not breaking the bank. The following are some risks that I have taken this week:

Tuesday: I went out to the Referral Networx meeting in Saratoga Springs during the time I would normally be working at my biggest clients. I rearranged my schedule for that day pretty drastically.
Wednesday: I met with Donna Harris and made about 4 or 5 phone calls on potential clients that I wanted to give her to help her out with her business.
Thursday: After speaking with Brad we decided that starting up a Referral Networx group in Orem would be awesome for us. I spoke to Alex today and he was ecstatic about it!
Friday: I sent out a mass email to my mailing list for Carrie Newman asking for donations for her book.

Risk is something that can really work for us if we take some time to think things through and measure the pros and cons of certain decisions. The more practice you get with risk the better you become at taking measured risks.
